Steve Scott

Steve Scott, co-owner of Great Scott, began working in men's retail at the age of 15 and fell in love with the business. After years of working in other clothing stores and acquiring more knowledge of the business, he decided to take the plunge and open Great Scott. Things went well from the beginning, and almost two decades later, business has never been better. Steve is married to Amy, and they have three children: Wright, Trey, and Trudy, as well as two Golden Retrievers: Gabby and Dixie. They reside in Jackson, and are members of Christ United Methodist Church.

Wright Scott

Wright Scott, our newest addition to the Great Scott team, graduated from the University of Mississippi in May 2002 with a degree in Operations Management and a minor in Marketing. Having worked in retail in Oxford, Wright brings a fresh new look to the Great Scott Team. Specializing in management information systems, Wright has brought Great Scott into the 21st Century.

Jim Goode

After growing up in Laurel, MS, Jim headed to Millsaps College where he graduated with a BS in Biology in 2003. After a brief stint at Mississippi State University's Entomology department ("I thought I wanted to study bark beatles!"), Jim moved back to Jackson and has been in the clothing business ever since. Jim has been a valuable member of the Great Scott team since the fall of 2007, and while he enjoys selling our great off-the-rack clothing, his true passion is helping clients create unique garments through our custom clothing suppliers.

Jim is married to Erin Kate and together they have two dogs and three cats.

Joe Myers

As Vice President of Great Scott, Joe Myers brings a wealth of knowledge garnered in an impressive career in the clothing industry that spans 40+ years. Having extensive experience in wholesale and retail, Joe's expertise is evident in the capacity of Buyer and Tailored Clothing.

Joe is married to Kathie, they are parents of Christine and a Bichon Frise, Bently. Residents of Madison the Myers family attends Saint James Episcopal Chruch.

Lauren Coulon

Lauren literally grew up in the men's retail clothing business. Founded by her grandfather Mike Jabour, then managed by her father John Wayne Jabour, "The Hub" in Vicksburg was the preeminent men's clothing store where she interned in New York City with Gitman Brothers and Burberry. She brings her experience and knowledge to Great Scott.

Michael Potts

Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and experience garnered in a career in fine men's clothing that spans over three decades. Since joining Great Scott in 1991, Michael has provided clients with guidance and has educated them to the exceptional quality and value found in the extraordinary lines represented by Great Scott.

Micheal is married to Kathryn and is the father of Sarah, Laura and Michael. They reside in Jackson and are members of Saint Richard of Jackson Catholic Church.
